It is the the prettier of the adjacent beach of Golden Bay, less spoiled setting and was untill recently , only accessible by a long staggered staircase down the side of the steep hill to the sands. 
Beautiful beach -take your own supplies and remember to keep the beach clean- difficult access but well worth the walk.

The exhausting climb made the beach less crowded than its neighbor. However, in recent years the retaining gate has been broken down a narrow sweeping track that ends close to the beach, gradually expanding the parking area.
