Scuba Diving in Malta Gozo and Comino
Visit Maltas premier Diving School..Click here
Diving in Malta and Gozo is Internationally renowned as one of the world's premier dive locations.
Diving in Malta and Gozo is easy. At most sites
you can drive virtually to the waters edge. Kit up and jump into
clear, warm, azure sea. The bottom shelves down in steps to reach
25 to 30 meters within a 5 minuite swim offering a choice of
diving depths to suit each level of ability. The rock has been
eroded to produce caves, caverns, overhangs , swim through and
the most spectacular scenery. There are no tides and few currents
so you can throw away your tide tables and dive when it suits
you.
The island is large enough to offer a sheltered
side when the wind blows but small enough to allow a dive to any
site within 30 minuits.
There are several easily accessible wrecks, the
largest being the recently sunk "El Faroud", 105 metres
long, lying in 35 Meters deep at wied IZ-Zurrieq ( Blue Grotto)
and also most recently the MV Xlendi (an old ferry boat that used
to cross the Gozo Channel)

Diving is the ULTIMATE escape from
reality. Defy the laws of gravity,
leave all your worries behind you and visit the fantasy
underwater world. This is adventure made easy! All you have to do
is go for a swim underwater; but it is easier than swimming, its
more like gliding. Swim among the coral reefs and the
multi colored fishes. Glide among the giant trees of the kelp
forests. Explore the wreck of an ancient ship. Slip over the edge
of a cliff and study the drop off to the abyss
.but that is
next week. First you have to find out how to dive your equipment
and your own body underwater.
Its your holiday , so you can start the course of your choice any day
you wish , except Sunday. If you have not dived before and are
unsure about booking a full course in advance, first try one of
the Introductory sessions. Its tailor-made to suit complete
beginners. You will be accompanied by fully qualified
PADI and trained diving instructors.
You will learn how to assemble and use the
equipment, how to regulate your position underwater in the
absence of gravity., and how to cope with the unexpected.
Practical skills are first thought and practiced in a pool or
sheltered corner bay., and then repeated on a real dive.
Dont let the word "course"
mislead you . Learn a new sport, get a great suntan and enjoy the holiday
of a lifetime. Contact us whether you are an experienced diver or
