Expertly converted house.. full of character, rich in furnishing, lively colourfull plants, wooden beams, thick maltese stonework retained and restored after hundreds of years. This home is impeccably furnished to high standards with old and new furniture all playing a part to enriching the atmosphere of a real cosy holiday home.
The feeling is exiting, romantic and tranquil, and will surely appreciate the efforts by the owner who converted this house with all his heart , to retain the old features yet create the desired atmosphere and cater for todays needs.
The property is accessed through a pretty private alley . The entrance greets you with a direct view of the courtyard through a spacious hall and radiates to any area of the property. The courtyard and pool area are full of colourfull plants and palms that decorate this section of the house most artisticly.
From the entrance hall again you may choose to venture right in to the sitting /living room with TV, or left to the old rustic Maltese style kitchen. The internal staircase with specially retained thick maltese yellow stonework leads to the second floor where 2 antiquely styled bedrooms -one with a rare and antique (perfect condition brass double bed) The roof terrace is used for BBQs and sunbathing. but can also do this by the pool or courtyard
Any romantic couple or small family with a sense of appreciation for this impeccably well kept house of character will find this to be a truly wonderful home to stay.
We hope to see you soon. Airport transfers will be arranged in co-ordination with your flights. Keys will be delivered by the driver providing you with transport and car hire , so it is important to book the car with us and can pay the agent direct on arrival.
*When accommodating more than 4 persons, the large living room sofa opens up into a lovely double bed setting, that just needs to be folded back to a sofa during the daytime- this arrangement is only used when accommodation for 5 or 6 persons is required in total occupancy.
The area is a very traditional maltese village and ideal for those seeking a "laid back" environment.
