The main attraction of renting this "part" of a villa property is in the use of a beautiful swimming pool which is part of the villa lived in by owner who has sectioned off a studio apartment adjacent to the driveway entrance. Accommodation is provided in a comfortable 1 bedroom studio with double bed bathroom and kitchen. We highly recommend that you have a car when staying here. The apartment is very well furnished and actually part of a large villa property with its own separate entrance on the side of the villas driveway and garage. However one will find no views/windows from inside the apartment- So if you are looking for just the accommodation , plan to venture around the maltese islands by car, and spend some time by the lovely pool when the sun shines, then this place is ok for you. If on the otherhand you want to be very centrally located, within walking distance of all amenities and would like to spend lots of time inside, then it is best to choose another type of accommodation.
This property is located in the living rsidential area of the village of Marsaxlokk and is fully equipped for self catering holiday accommodation on Malta. On entrance to the apartment you have a kitchen combined with dining area, and fully equipped with fridge freezer, cooker / oven, toaster, kettle and all kitchen utensils. There are no views from the apartment itself and is to be considered if you plan to spend lots of time inside- as there is only the TV to entertain!, besides the pool that is!. The next room is the double bedroom with bathroom ensuite. A TV with with comfortable luxury sofas and furnishing is available in the same spacious bedroom. To complement the use of this apartment, is a large pool deck 70 feet x 70 feet with a swimming pool equipped with a slide, garden furniture, deck chairs, shades and dining table. There are various parts of the pool deck one can enjoy the sun or shade. Entrance to the pool is through the private driveway adjacent to the apartment property and may be used only between 0930 and 16:00hrs. For those seeking tranquilty and a holiday on Malta on a self catering basis, this apartment gives you all the comfort you need for your accomodation in Malta and the enjoyment of a lovely swimming pool.
Marsaxlokk
village is a tranquil old fishing village with open market stalls that open
during the daytime , restaurants, some specializing in fish cuisine , some
kiosks , local fishermen's bars, a church , bank, and mini market. The village
center is just 10 minutes walk away where you will find all you need when you are out
and about. There is still a timelessness about Marsasxlokk , best experienced
early in the morning or late afternoon, when most of the visitors have gone home
and women place their chairs outside their front doors to catch the breeze and
share some gossip, the men wander home from drying and fixing their nets and the
kids dive into the sea off the spit of land at the end of the bay known as
il-Maghluq . A small
market in
Marsaxlokk on every weekday, and on Sunday there is bigger market, very
popular with the tourists and the Maltese. Rapidly carving its own name as a
resort area, The South coast provides some of the more spectacular views on the
Island, and has a more open feel about it.
