Smart seafront studio available for holiday accommodation in Malta- Twin beds can be arranged as a double bed if required. Separate bed opens into a fourth bed to accomodate a total of 4 persons. A baby cot (baby bed) can be arranged if required. The studio is equipped with a large wardrobe, dressing table , washbasin to wash glasses, separate WC with shower and washbasin, small Frigo Bar (Items consumed to be paid separatelly with the caretaker). Terrace overlooking the sea , Market, village centre.
Breakfast can be arranged on a per person basis prepaid or paid locally as you go, and is served on the 1st floor where there is a little Restaurant. Local cost of Breakfast is only a mere LM1.75 per person per day ! Breakfast is served between 0830am and 11:59AM. The Restaurant can also be used or can choose to dine at other nearby restaurants and Pizzerias. Marsaxlokk is also ideal for those who love fish as some Restaurants in Marsaxlokk specialise in fish cuisine.
The property is in central Marsaxlokk close to all amenities, and necessities you may need including a Bank with 24 hr ATM service and the village church. Marsaxlokk is a quiet fishing village during the week, except for saturdays and sundays when the local market is at its most active. The market is a favourite for tourists and locals who come to find bargains as well as buy fish. You will find almost anything in the market as the stalls eqiup themselves with as much as possible- from local souvenirs, original maltese lace, to clothing , fruit, food and all other items.
There is still a timelessness about Marsasxlokk , best experienced early in the morning or late afternoon, when most of the visitors have gone home and women place their chairs outside their front doors to catch the breeze and share some gossip, the men wander home from drying and fixing their nets and the kids dive into the sea off the spit of land at the end of the bay known as il-Maghluq. The small market in Marsaxlokk opens on every weekday, but most active on Sunday as there is bigger market, very popular with the tourists and the Maltese. Rapidly carving its own name as a resort area, The South coast provides some of the more spectacular views on the Island, and has a more open feel about it.
Gradually over time the sparse little bars where fishermen
used to drink added tables , chairs and umbrellas on the pavements . The market
sprouted along the seafront and has now become a tourist attraction in its own
right, as fresh fish was put on to the menus in four or five languages.
The promenade extends further and further , with the market stalls competing with the fishermen who still check their nets and prepare their floats , bent over, engrossed in their work, obvious to the hordes jostling by clutching their carrier bags.

NOTES Included in the accommodation we will service the studio room every day, we change the towels every second day, clean the studio room & change the sheets after one week, we also have a washroom and clothes line where they can wash their clothes when they like at no extra charge.
Breakfast is available downstairs in the restaurant at price of Lm 1.75 per person and is a full English or Continental.
The studio room has an air-condition system that can be used for heating or cooling and is paid at your own cost. The average price Lm 1 per 4 hours and has a meter that only operates when you use it and stops when you switch it off. The payment will be charged at the time of your departure.
All rooms have basic television channels but extra channels can be added for a weekly payment of Lm 5. These will include sports, movies, discovery and BBC Prime etc.
