Description: A relatively new holiday rental property in the old town of Zebbug - Malta. This self catering holiday apartment is situated at first floor level but enjoys the use of a lift. Upon entrance into the apartment one will find a medium sized living room, fully equipped kitchen and 3 bedrooms, one with an ensuite shower, a separate bathroom and both front and back terraces. A swimming pool run by a private school during the Summer is situated 5 minutes away from the property and is available for guest against a nominal fee paid directly at the pool entrance. This property has an excellent finish throughout and is one of our favourites in the central area of Malta. Booking early is highly recommended.

| Area/Locality Description: | Zebbug lies stretched on a tranquil hill to the north of Gozo. Its name in Maltese means olives or olive trees, denoting an olive tree culture in the area at some point in time. Zebbug rises on two adjoining hills, from where one could not help but observe a splendid panorama of the Gozitan countryside and the Mediterranean. The village church, dedicated to Santa Marija, the Assumption, is literally covered with this semi-precious stone. The high altar, the choir, and the baptistery are all sculpted out of this onyx. |

Zebbug Malta Zebbuġ Malta is an old Maltese town which served as a city during the times of the Knights of St John and was named Citta de Rohan, after its founder Grand Master de Rohan. Zebbug is located in the centre of Malta. Zebbuġ consists of a typical old village core characterized by narrow winding streets and an imposing church set in the village square. The Parish Church of Zebbug is dedicated to Philip of Agira whose feast is celebrated on the 2nd. Sunday of June. The name of the town literally means "olives" in Maltese; it derives from the large olive groves that stood in and around the current location of the church and the centre of the town.
For those travelling to Zebbug, it is an ideal base from where to explore all that Malta has to offer. There are many historic sites, museums, nightlife and beaches close by, car hire reasonable and recommended. Its neighbouring villages include Attard, Rabat, Mdina the Silent City, Mosta and Siggiewi. Valletta is at 7 km.
