San Blas Bay

San Blas bay is a picturesque jewel, a charming minature beach in a secluded cove ringed with terraced fields and lush greenery. From Nadur, to get to the bay, the narrow road winds down finally reaching a steep hill that is accessible only for a short distance by car. But it is a superb walk the rest of the way downhill through a valley abundant with fruit and with several fields edged with tall bamboo fences to protect the crops from the sea winds rising from below. There is not much space on the beach and it is probably not best siuted to families with young children.

The  steep narrow track down to this quiet little beach is almost inaccessible by car, but you can walk down and you will be well rewarded. There is no development here apart from a few boat houses and the bay is a perfect spot for a picnic or a dip.
