What does "Self Catering " mean?
Self Catering means that you are being provided
with accommodation that has facilities to
allow you to cook and cater for yourselves whilst
in Malta. You are not provided with a meal by the establishment owners or
property owners during your stay- but they have given you all you need to cater
yourselves.
In Malta there is a large number of Restaurants to choose
from and can
be found in almost all villages around the Maltese Islands. This
leaves you with a choice of cooking, catering for yourselves at the property or
dining out by shopping around in one of the many restaurants you can find. The
option of self catering leaves the freedom of deciding what you want to do on a
daily basis, leaving you totally in control on how to spend your day, and where
you want to spend it. :

What is a Vacation Rental or Holiday Rental or Holiday
Rental?
A Vacation Rental or Holiday Rental or Holiday Rental is a lodging type that
has self-catering facilities (cooker/stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, etc.)
Most Mediterranean Vacation Rental or
Holiday Rentals in Malta have separate bedrooms, fully equipped
kitchens, one or more bathrooms, home appliances, and sometimes a balcony,
terrace, patio or pool deck. Towels and linens are provided. Daily maid service
and other hotel conveniences are usually unavailable. When Maid Service is
provided, this is usually 1 time per week.
Unlike hotels with per person
pricing, with Vacation Rentals or Holiday Rentals there is a set price for an entire
Vacation Rental or Holiday Rental with a maximum number of persons allowed. Most
bedroom units sleep a maximum + a number of possible extra beds , using a
sleeper/sofa, folding bed or normal single bed in one of the rooms available.

learn the specifics of what is provided and how many people are allowed. In
cases where an extra bed facility is offered, this is usually a folding bed,
sleeper/sofa, or a normal single bed that is placed in iether one of the rooms.
Where do I pick up my Vacation Rental or Holiday Rental keys?
Usually we arrange Transportation to the property on your arrival, The keys
will be with the driver taking you to the property- so we will need your
flight arrival number when you have it. The driver will wait for you just
outside customs and will hold a "plaque" with your name on it- If you do not
identify him simply wait just outside customs untill you identify each other. In
case of difficulty call 99829641 or 381778.
The email you receive confirming your reservation for a Vacation Rental or
Holiday Rental will provide details as to where and when you should pick up the
keys to your rental unit. If the accommodation provided includes transfer on
arrival, the keys of the property will usually be with the driver or when
applicable , the caretaker greeting you at the property.
Can I make a reservation over the phone?
Reservations for Special Internet Rates can be made by calling 00356 21 381778. Messages by Fax are to be sent to 00356 21
386546. EMAIL : If you have an email address and actively use it,
communicating with Malta is easy and cheaper for all involved- simply fill in
the enquiry availability form and make sure you enter your details correctly and
wait for a prompt response.
How Can I pay for a Reservation? Once you confirm
your intention to Book by sending us a clear message in the subject line and the
Reference number of the property. We will send you a Credit Card form which you
can fill in and safely fax it back to us- Once the credit card has been
authorised for payment, your reservation will be confirmed. Alternative method
of payment is by *cheque or by Bank Transfer. ( * Cheques
are only accepted when paying way in advance or are a repeat customer.)
What type of customer service is offered?
After submitting your reservation request, you will be contacted by a local
representative , usually by email and if that fails by phone, available 7 days a week, 365 days a year (including
holidays) to answer your questions. When at the property, first contact
